Guardian Angel Carers Expands Franchise Opportunities Across the UK

Growing home care group, Guardian Angel Carers, opens new franchise locations to extend its network of local care services

Chichester, England, United Kingdom, September 25, 2026 -- Guardian Angel Carers is inviting prospective franchisees to apply for a home care franchise opportunity to establish and operate their own home care service, as the business continues to expand to meet demand for personalised, high-quality at-home support backed by an experienced national team.

The home care group, whose founder and CEO was named CEO of the Year in the Women in Business Awards at the 2026 Business Awards UK, has grown since its launch in 2012, from a single branch to 18 territories, supported by a National Office in Chichester.

It has now made a limited number of additional territories available to dedicated franchisees who want to build a business with a strong sense of purpose.

How Guardian Angel Carers’ Local Care Network Has Grown

Founded in 2012 by Christina Handasyde Dick MBE, OLY, Guardian Angel Carers grew out of her own experience of her grandmothers receiving care, and the different approach to home care she wanted to build as a result.

The group is built around the belief that people should have the right to remain independent at home, surrounded by loved ones, routines and places that hold value, while families and friends can continue to maintain those important connections.

As the business has expanded, the home care franchise model has enabled local business owners to bring this same approach to their own communities, while benefiting from the expertise and infrastructure Guardian Angel Carers can offer.

Franchisees run their own local business with National Office support behind them across recruitment, CQC compliance, finance and marketing.

Operations Director, Vikki Craig-Vickers speaking on behalf of Guardian Angel Carers says, ‘Everything we do is grounded in offering great care, and that starts by working with people who share our passion for making a difference to families and people in their communities.

We developed our franchise model to give ambitious, forward-thinking franchisees a way to build their own businesses with a genuine focus on delivering the best possible care, while partnering with our National Office colleagues to help them succeed.

The most productive conversations we have are with people who want to understand how the business runs day to day before they look at the numbers. Anyone at that stage should get in touch.’

Comprehensive Franchise Support Services Offered By Guardian Angel Carers

While the Guardian Angel Carers brand is well established, franchisees receive support with the practical and operational aspects of running a home care service, starting as they prepare to launch a new territory and continuing as each business develops.

Support available to franchisees includes:

  • Training and development, helping franchise owners and their teams gain the knowledge and skills they need to run their businesses.
  • Recruitment assistance, including guidance around how to create and develop a strong, values-focused local care team.
  • Compliance support, including CQC registration before launch and continued support through inspection.
  • Finance and HR support, with specialist assistance across these key business functions.
  • Marketing assistance, helping local franchises improve awareness and become established within their respective communities.
  • Peer-led support, connecting franchisees across the network to enable them to share experience and advice.

The combination of national expertise and local ownership has helped the Guardian Angel Carers franchise model expand into multiple new territories, where franchisees can build relationships within their own communities and make independent decisions while remaining firmly part of the wider network.

Territory availability changes as the network grows, so the franchise team can confirm what is currently open and talk through which locations suit a prospective owner's plans.

Interested applicants can contact the franchise team directly to learn more about potential territories, the support provided, and what is involved in becoming part of the growing Guardian Angel Carers network.

About the company: Guardian Angel Carers is a home care group founded in 2012 and now operating through 18 locally owned territories across England, supported by a National Office in Chichester.
