Huddersfield made a dream start to its first Premier League season by winning 3-0 at Crystal Palace on Saturday

LONDON — Huddersfield made a dream start to its first Premier League season by winning 3-0 at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

After Joel Ward's own-goal, there were two fine finishes from club-record signing Steve Mounie at Selhurst Park in south London.

Huddersfield is in the top flight for the first time since 1972, two decades before the Premier League started.
